Take the Rotary SPCA challenge

Bay Rotary Anns challenge corporates to support SPCA

THE Rotary Anns of Richards Bay are spoiling for a fight and have thrown down the gauntlet to corporates.

Each month a group of ladies head down to the Richards Bay SPCA to hand over donations for the hard-working and struggling organisation.

‘We know there are so many animal lovers out there who can’t bear the thought of animals suffering or being left hungry or homeless,’ said Rotary Ann President Mari van Zyl.

‘We want companies and individuals to turn that compassion into action by taking up our challenge and donating monthly to the SPCA.

‘There is only so much we can do, but together we can make a huge difference.

‘We are truly worried about the situation as it is also becoming more difficult for us to keep supporting as we do not have a steady income to back us up.

‘We are all in this fight together to try and help our animal friends.’

If any reader is up to answering the challenge, contact Mari on 082 4424319 or simply pitch up at the SPCA with your donation.
