A BUS lost control on a wet gravel road in KwaMbonambi on Monday morning and struck an 83-year-old woman.
She was rushed to the eNseleni Clinic, but passed away a few hours later.
A case of culpable homicide was opened with the KwaMbonambi police.
‘It is terribly sad she lost her life in this way,’ said KwaMbonambi SAPS spokesperson, Captain Nkosingiphile Mthethwa.
‘We hope this tragic accident will encourage authorities to tar this hazardous road.’
