DESPITE good rains along the coast of Zululand, the major supply dams in the region are still critically low, and residents are urged to continue using water sparingly.
The Goedertrouw Dam was standing at 19 percent of its full storage capacity of 301.3 million cubic metres as at Monday, 11 July.
Hluhluwe Dam was 14.8% and Klipfontein 14.7%.
The largest dam in the region, with a full capacity of 2 267.1 million cubic metres, Pongolapoort was at 41.2 percent.
