Weight loss win for Zululand women

The north coast regional leg of the competition was held in Richards Bay where Vimla Naidoo of Stanger and Chantal Trytsman of Empangeni shared their weight loss journey.

SHEDDING those unwanted kilos to enhance their quality of life, increase energy levels and maintain healthy lifestyles, was the motivation behind the slimming success stories of two Zululand women who made the cut as Weigh-Less Woman of the Year finalists.

The north coast regional leg of the competition was held in Richards Bay where Vimla Naidoo of Stanger and Chantal Trytsman of Empangeni shared their weight loss journey.

With the assistance and mentorship of their devoted group leaders, these women underwent complete lifestyle overhauls, changing their attitudes about health and wellness, while taking to heart the Weigh-Less principles that promote self-esteem and general personal contentment.

After her health took a turn for the worse, Naidoo made a conscious decision to join the Weigh-Less way of life and lost a whopping 41kg and reached her goal weight in 11 months.

Meanwhile Chantal, who teamed up with her mother on the programme, lost 48kg and discovered a love for running in the process.

Both women explained that the road to success was not always easy but with the support of their group leaders they have now found a new lease of life, are more active and their self-esteem received a big boost.
