THE uThungulu Cluster task team led by Sergeant Nathan Pottier has arrested a third suspect in the armed robbery and assault case involving eShowe farmer Geoffrey Hanbury-King of Hanburyking Farm.

The attack occurred on 20 April last year.
Njabulo Manqele (30) was arrested last Thursday and appeared in the eShowe Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

One of the rifles taken during the robbery was also recovered.
Manqele’s case was postponed to next Wednesday for a bail application.

His two co-accused, Themba Sipho Dlodlo (29) and Samokhule Ngema (28), were arrested in October last year and are in custody as they are connected to other robbery cases in the eShowe area.

They will again appear in court on Monday on the charges relating to the Hanbury-King attack.
