YET another postponement, this time due to conflicting schedules of the defence attorney, has delayed the Frara murder trial.
John ‘Johnnie’ Frara briefly appeared in the Empangeni Court on Tuesday, where it became apparent that his defence attorney Johan van der Westhuizen would not be able to argue his case owing to another matter in which he represents a client taking up a large amount of the court’s time.
Frara, who was charged following the death of his wife Carolyn inside their Empangeni home in 2013, will appear again on 19 July.
She was stabbed multiple times with a knife and was declared dead on the scene.
