ANOTHER successful club meeting was recently held at the Beachcombers Photographic Club as local snappers showcased their impressive shots from their June assignment.
The theme ‘Macro and Close Up’ tested the members’ capabilities and as a result, an array of well captured images were submitted, along with the usual high quality images submitted in the open category.
The winner of the theme category was Hein Beukes for his image ‘All in the middle’.
Gerrit Dyman once again walked away as the junior winner with his image ‘Mushroom’ and Nobby Clarke claimed the win in the open category with his image ‘Surfing in the sun’.
Amateur photographers are looking forward to next month’s theme of ‘Monochrome – Plants, Trees and Flowers’.
Visitors and photographers are invited to attend the meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at the NSRI base (next to Zululand Yacht Club) in Richards Bay.
Induction for new members begins at 6:15pm and the club meeting is at 7pm sharp.
