SOOO… it’s 4pm on the 9th of June, nearing mid-winter, and the country is wrapped up in jerseys, coats and blankets…
…but not in Sizzle City!! (The City of uMhlathuze: Richards Bay, Empangeni and surrounds).
Air temp is around 27 degrees, water temp is 19 degrees (normally about 21 in winter), and there are plenty of kids on the beach and in the surf.
Had to put the car aircon on, on the way down, by the way.
‘Summer All Year Round’ – that’s our slogan, and you can see why.
Sorry for the rest of you in good old RSA, but we do promise you a ‘warm’ welcome, so why not come and visit?
(On the down side, we could drop down to about 15 degrees overnight…)
