CITY of uMhlathuze building statistics for the January to March quarter this year, presented at Wednesday’s Exco sitting, showed plans were approved for 113 new buildings at a combined value of just over R51-million.
During the same period only four dwellings were completed, with a total worth of R5 039 000.
According to the agenda item, discussion had ensued at the City Development Portfolio Meeting with respect to the number of building plans approved during the quarter compared with those actually executed.
