Trade Fair back with a bang

This year, the Zululand Trade Fair Committee has promised a jam packed line-up with a variety of stalls, exhibitors, activities and some brand new, exciting entertainment additions.

ZULULANDERS can expect another explosive, mind blowing experience at the annual Zululand Trade Fair which takes place on 24 and 25 June in Richards Bay.

This year, the Zululand Trade Fair Committee has promised a jam packed line-up with a variety of stalls, exhibitors, activities and some brand new, exciting entertainment additions.

Off to a banging start, the South African National Defence Force will have a military display showcasing their precision and weaponry and will set a number of mock battles in motion to keep the crowds entertained.

The new, noise-free fireworks will provide a breathtaking and colourful show without the bangs, and is an animal friendly alternative.

There is an extensive entertainment line-up which includes a brand new funfair, stunt bag jumps, super drift cars, banger cars, outdoor movie night, dance shows, Miss Zululand, Zululand Chef of the Year, hot rods, Freestyle FMX, super bike stunt riders and many popular artists.

According to organisor, Dean Smith the two-day showcase caters for all age groups and cultures within the community and is expected to attract 16 000 visitors, ensuring maximum exposure for exhibitors showcasing their companies, products and services.

With stalls selling fast, exhibitors are encouraged to secure their spot as it is on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

‘It is an affordable, safe and secure event targeting all members of the community including your employees and family members,’ said Smith.

‘This event not only fosters economic development and growth in the area but will also indirectly stimulate the local economy through tourism expenditure as many of the exhibitors come from areas outside of Richards Bay and make use of local accommodation, restaurants, banking services and other facilities during the days running up to and for the duration of the show.’

Exhibitors can book their stalls by contacting the Zululand Trade Fair on 086 111 2488 or by visiting the website www.ztf.co.za
