TWO women from Richards Bay died in a horrific crash on the R34 near Vryheid on Saturday afternoon.
They were travelling home after a family funeral in Vryheid when their small hatchback collided head-on with a tanker truck.
According to KwaZulu Private Ambulance services, they both died on impact.
The identities of the women are known to the Zululand Observer but have not been released by SAPS.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the authorities.
