PATIENCE paid off for members of the SAPS Seaborderline task team when they recovered a stolen vehicle and made a significant arrest last Wednesday.
The Subaru had been stolen when its keys were taken during a house robbery in Mtunzini.
The car was traced to the KwaMcebisi cottages in eSikhaleni, where it had been hidden for two days.
The team lay in wait on Wednesday night and were rewarded when a suspect arrived to remove the car and he was promptly arrested.
They had further success on Thursday at the Ophondweni area of Mtubatuba when a suspect was arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition and was taken to the KwaMsane police station.
