WATCH: Enraged rhino charges into bakkie at game reserve
The fully grown black rhino smashes into the bakkie at full tilt, moving it nearly a meter to the side
FOOTAGE of a rhino charging a Toyota bakkie in the Etosha National Park in Namibia has gone viral.
The video was posted to YouTube by Alexandra Poier who was in another vehicle nearby.
Poier told the Daily Mail that the tourists inside the vehicle were unharmed.
‘I think the rhino saw a threat and that is why he attacked. To be honest, I was quite scared because it could have been our car,’ she said.
‘It happened very quickly and suddenly. After he went to the side of our car and we left quickly. The tour guide said this was a rare event.’
