THE competitive atmosphere at the St Catherine’s inter-house gala on Monday generated enough energy to motivate a snail to challenge Usain Bolt’s 100m record.
St Dominics claimed the House Trophy and bragging rights for 2016, followed by St Martins and St Thomas.
Despite ending last on the podium, St Thomas walked away with the Supporters Trophy after making their presence.
The boys section was tightly contested, with Muso Dlamini and Stephane Nsengiyumva sharing the Junior Victor Ludorum award.
It was a successful day in the pool for the Wafer family, with Teaghan Wafer claiming the Junior Victrix Ludorum prize and sister Kayla the Senior Victor Ludorum award.
