Records shattered at Grantleigh Inter-house gala
Trogons claim House Trophy at Grantleigh Inter-house gala
FIVE records were bettered at the Grantleigh Schools College Inter-House gala held recently, which provided top entertainment for parents, teachers and pupils.
The main man on the night was youngster Micheal Esterhuyse who broke three records and picked up the Junior Victor Ludorum for his efforts.
He bettered the following records – Boys U13-14 200IM, 50m Breaststroke and 50m Freestyle.
Senior Victor Ludorum winner Jordan Stevens also got into the record books, when bettering the the Boys Open 200IM and 50m Backstroke records.
Sharon Crous was awarded the Junior Victrix Ludorum, with Lizelle Thompson taking home the Senior Victrix Ludorum for their respective efforts.
Bishops house won the spirit trophy, with Trogons claiming the house trophy and bragging rights for 2016.
