More suspects arrested for police killings

They have also been linked to two police killings in the province - one at KwaMashu and another at Gingindlovu.

A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY approach by police units led to the arrest of six suspects in the early hours of Monday morning.

The suspects, aged between 18 and 60 years, were wanted for various crimes in the province, including business robberies and murder cases.

They have also been linked to two police killings in the province – one at KwaMashu and another at Gingindlovu.

The arrested suspects will appear in the Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court soon.

The KZN North Region Crime Intelligence Task Team, as well as Special Task Team, followed up on information about wanted suspects at Mbongolwane outside eShowe.

The members went to a previously identified homestead where they cornered and arrested the suspects.

They are regarded as dangerous and they are allegedly involved in business robberies targeting supermarkets in the Newlands East, KwaMashu, Bhekithemba, Mayville, eShowe, Maphumulo and Phoenix areas.
