THREE men, two armed with pistols and the third with a hammer, took less than three minutes to rob an Empangeni businessman of a large amount of cash, his cellphone and car keys.
Zahid Hassim (38) fell victim to a crew of brazen thugs yesterday (Tuesday) morning, when at around 11.40am they cornered him outside his business on Ngwelezane Road.
Hassim faced a loaded gun as the men searched his pockets for the cash he had withdrawn earlier to pay staff wages, before calmly driving off.
A fourth man stayed behind the wheel of the getaway car, a silver Audi sedan.
Hassim sustained only minor injuries from being repeatedly hit in the side and on his leg.
