Buckets of support for community

Team generosity blesses Mzingazi poor

GRATEFUL Mzingazi community members were thrilled to receive food hampers provided by Meerensee Shell filling station through the Nhlabane Taxi Association.

Speaking at the occasion, community mobiliser Sharon Mdletshe praised both parties for the work they do among the needy.

‘The Nhlabane Taxi Association has been at the forefront of assisting this community for many years, including when successful negotiations were being conducted with Eskom for electricity in this area.

‘They rally to help when it comes to school uniforms, food parcels and even bricks when houses burn down.

‘By establishing their offices right in the heart of Mzingazi, they are always available to respond to transport problems,’ said Mdletshe.

She also praised Dawn Melvill and the staff at the Meerensee filling station for their long-standing working partnership with the community.

‘This is just one instance of their generosity towards those in need.’

The garage representatives at the function were garage Manager Zoé Maritz and Forecourt Manager Bongani Mthembu, while Alton Cele was the official spokesperson for the Nhlabane Taxi Association.
