From DJ decks to gourmet dishes – be part of giving
Local deejay Thabani Mjadu is on a mission to spread Christmas cheer in Ntambanana on Christmas Day
LOCAL master of spin Thabani ‘DJ Ankel’ Mjadu is our own ‘Father Christmas’.
The well-know deejay and entrepreneur is calling for all Zululanders to join his charity drive in Ntambanana on Christmas Day.
The purpose is to spread festive cheer to over 500 disadvantaged children and pensioners.
They will be served breakfast and lunch while playing various games courtesy of the sponsors.
‘Not everyone can afford to have a nice Christmas. It is all our duty to support our communities and give them a day to remember.
‘This won’t be just about food, but it is about sharing time and educating each other. Youngsters will get a chance to play games and have day filled with fun,’ said Mjadu.
Mjadu has extended an invitation to all residents to be part of programme, and appeals for donations of food parcels, toys and presents.
The special event will also serve as a platform to create awareness against various social ills including health issues, violence and the escalating drug abuse in the area.
Award-winning maskandi giant Thokozani ‘Somnandi’ Langa and local artists will be part of the entertainment line-up.
