Rotary gives the gift of living

THERE was great joy and appreciation when the Rotary Club of Richards Bay donated 10 wheelchairs to the Nawe Zifunze Disable Centre (Nazidi) in Mzingazi on Friday.

The chairs were given to needy recipients from eNseleni, eMadlanzini and Mzingazi.

The kind gesture was aimed at improving the mobility of those less fortunate than others.

‘As business people we always come together to help others. We organise fund-raising events to generate funds to support people in our communities.

‘We try to make their lives bearable and more comfortable,’ said Rotary President, Chris Valentine.

The group also donated toys and presents to hundreds of orphans in the area, to ensure they have a cheerful Christmas.
