POLICE stepped up their holiday season operations over the weekend.
Staying true to the commitment of enforcing road rules and preventing death on KZN’s roads, the City of uMhlathuze’s Traffic Inspectorate arrested 26 motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol over the weekend.

Officials plan on keeping their momentum going throughout the festive season and will be carrying out inspections 24-seven to maintain high visibility.
Mhlongo also reminded holidaymakers that security will be tight at all major events in the uMhlathuze area.
