One of the four crew members from the ski-boat – Asterix, was found in the water, clinging to the upturned hull of the capsized boat.

A rescue swimmer was deployed to recover the remaining three men, who managed to safely board the various rescue vessels.

No injuries were sustained in the incident. It is believed their boat may have flipped after being swamped by a wave.

The NSRI righted the capsized boat and towed it into the Port where it was recovered.
