Thousands expected at Angus Buchan event

Buses will pick up people at different points on the route as there is no parking available at the school.

SEASONED evangelist Angus Buchan will be speaking in Empangeni this Sunday at the Unity in Christ Celebration Zululand (UICC) event.

Taking place at the Empangeni High School grounds, gates open at 8am with a programme of children’s activities before Buchan takes the stage at noon.

Entry is free and visitors must bring along their own chairs or blanket and umbrellas.

Buchan has made a special call to all farmers from this region to attend and help pray for rain.

To alleviate traffic congestion, buses will pick up people at different points on the route as there is no parking available at the school.

The public have been urged to arrange lift clubs to minimize traffic.

There will be no parking on the sport fields. Traffic officials will be on duty directing traffic.

There are four routes around Empangeni where buses will circle to transport people to a drop-off zone.

* Along President Swart Avenue (corner of Weightman and corner of Apollo)

* AGS Church in Louis Botha Avenue and Frank Bull Road

* Mahogany Drive, Maritz and Farewell Road

* Cassia and Cactus Road.
