Top marks for district clinics

Ntambanana, uMhontokayise and Phaphamani clinics receive clear audit.

PROVIDING health care to the uThungulu, uMkhanyakude and Zululand districts which serve almost three million people, Ngwelezana Hospital identified several rural clinics which continue to excel.

During a service excellence awards ceremony, Ntambanana, uMhontokayise and Phaphamani clinics were recognised as being PHC compliant with retention in care and viral load suppression over a 12 month period.

Ngwelezana Hospital CEO awards were handed to the maintenance and systems departments as being most improved and Monitoring and Evaluation Manager Jabu Nene was crowned as the best ‘all-rounder’.

Staff who have served between 10 and 30 years were also acknowledged for their dedication.
