UPDATE: Woman injured in taxi crash airlifted to Durban hospital
The woman was seriously injured during a taxi crash on Sunday afternoon.
A WOMAN who was injured in the taxi crash on Sunday afternoon has been airlifted to Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in Durban.
According to KZN EMS spokesperson Robert McKenzie, an EMS helicopter collected a polytrauma patient from Ngwelezana Hospital yesterday.
The Zululand Observer has been able to confirm that the patient was one of the women who were seriously injured during the crash, which left 17 others injured.
* Polytrauma patients are described as patients with multiple injuries that require treatment from an array of specialists.
