AS of Friday, you won’t be able to comment on News24 stories.
Not without a bit of effort, anyway.

The Zululand Observer wants to assure you that we will always value what our readers have to say.
As a community newspaper our roots are dug firmly into the foundations of Zululand and we remain your newspaper.
With this in mind, we will always take the time and make the effort to remove comments that incite violence, discrimination or hate speech, from all our platforms.

A simple no-nonsense approach to the problem of unsavoury comments is the only way to assure that those who wish to have their opinion heard can do so, without fear of retaliation.
Now let us bow our heads and pray for @dailymaverick and @IOL as they inherit News24 trolls. We're thinking of you in this difficult time.
