GALLERY: Teen pedestrian injured in Main Road crash

A 19-year-old boy sustained minor injuries this morning after he was hit by a car on Main Road in Empangeni.

According to officials on scene, a silver VW Polo had struck the boy. Two taxis then smashed into each other as they attempted to avoid hitting the boy as well.

According to Robert McKenzie, spokesperson for KZN EMS, the boy sustained only minor injuries.

Traffic was slowed but not seriously disrupted as officials worked to document the scene.
