OUTSTANDING photographic and technical skills were showcased at the August competition of the Beachcombers Photographic Club.
Under the theme ‘Street Photography and Photojournalism, eye-catching images of a high standard were exhibited by local snappers.
Dudley Kelbe took the top spot with his winning image ‘Street Artist’, while the open category also attracted a string of exceptional entries with Hein Beukes claiming the winning shot ‘Moonrise over Irene’.
Tracey Sadie was named the ‘Best Junior’ for claiming the most points overall at the meeting.
The next photo challenge will feature ‘Low Key Photography’ as the theme.
Visitors and photographers are invited to attend the meetings on the first Tuesday of every month at the NSRI base (next to Zululand Yacht Club) in Richards Bay. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 4 August.
