Two hippos wander Richards Bay streets
The adventurous pair were caught on camera taking a stroll on the road near the Steel Bridge.
SURVEILLANCE cameras have captured what appears to be a hippo cow and her calf wandering on the road near the Steel Bridge at the Tuzi Gazi Waterfront in Richards Bay.
An image taken from the footage was posted on Facebook this morning, showing the adventurous hippos taking a stroll at around 2.30am on Monday morning.
It is believed the two hippos could be the same pair that were spotted near Green Africa Nursery on 22 July.
Residents are urged to not approach the hippos under any circumstances, and to contact the authorities if they are spotted.
