A THREE-CAR pileup on the N2 near Hluhluwe on Monday afternoon left two people dead and one critically injured.
The accident occurred at about 2pm, involving a mini bus and two motor vehicles.
Two men were declared dead on the scene. The critically injured patient was transported by private ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the accident is unknown, but a case of culpable homicide has been opened by the Hluhluwe police.
