Crash survivors recovering
Three of the patients injured in the crash have been admitted to hospital
TWO people died and 27 were injured in a crash on the N2 near Mtunzini on Sunday morning.
This after the Hyundai H100 van they were travelling in overturned.
'Of the patients, 15 were seriously hurt while 12 had minor injuries,' said Robert McKenzie, spokesperson for KZN Emergency Medical Services.
EMS, Netcare911 and IPSS Rescue were on scene and all patients were taken to Ngwelezana Hospital for further treatment.
'Only three remain in hospital for observation and further care,' Ngwelezana Hospital spokesperson, Thobile Hadebe said on Monday.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
