Stats SA surveys in Empangeni
Residents are asked to be aware of the Stats SA workers that will be visiting homes
AS part of a Living Condition Survey (LCS), two officials from Statistics South Africa will be visiting homes in the Fairview area.
Thokozile Shezi and Sibusiso Ngema will be sporting Stats SA bibs, caps and will be driving a Stats SA vehicle.
Their identification cards will also be available on request.
For the next four to six weeks residents are asked to be aware of their movement in the area, as they engage with households doing the work required of the LCS.
The LCS is conducted every five years and provides information on consumer spending patterns, consumption and poverty levels.
