Life sentence for serial rapist

SERIAL rapist Phumlani Sbonelo Dludla (24) has been sentenced in the eShowe Regional Court to life imprisonment plus a total of thirty years for three counts of rape .

He was convicted after the magistrate heard how he terrorised the eShowe and Ekombe communities between 2010 and 2014.

The accused kicked the doors of his victims’ houses open and then raped them.

Four rape cases were opened at eShowe and Ekombe police stations.

After analysis of the evidence, the eShowe Family Violence, Child and Sexual Offences Unit started their investigations and the accused was linked to all four cases.
