HLUHLUWE police have arrested one of the six suspects in connection with last month’s farm murder in which Terence Rizzato was killed and his wife beaten.
The 29-year-old suspect was arrested on Tuesday, charged with murder and robbery and will appear at the Hluhluwe Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
KZN police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni, said, ‘We are confident the five remaining suspects will be arrested soon and we will ensure they face the full might of the law.’w
Rizzato (62) was shot and killed when six armed suspects invaded the farm last month. It is alleged they stole cell phones and a substantial amount of cash before shooting Rizzato and fleeing in his vehicle, which was recovered hours after the crime.
