Farmyard rising through the ashes

Dayspring Farmyard is still open for business with their renovations making steady progress.

DAYSPRING Farmyard’s restoration project following last year’s devastating fire, is moving forward in leaps and bounds.

According to owner Dave Ervine, the roof was put in place on the new stable block last week and the building of the dividing stable walls will begin soon.

‘We are so grateful for all the support we have received from so many good people. Words cannot express how much this support has meant to us and our riding family,’ said a very grateful Ervine.

‘Many people thought the whole Farmyard burnt to the ground and that we had been forced to close down, so it has had an effect on the number of visitors, but we’ll soon be back to normal again.’

To complete the restoration, Dayspring Farmyard needs another 4 000 cement blocks and are trying to do as much as they can with the 2 000 blocks they currently have in hand.
