PROJECT Siyabonga Shelter, which is being developed at the House of Shalom in Brackenham, is seeking any kind of sponsorship from Zululand corporates and community members.
The non-profit organisation has been in existence for the past 15 years, with their latest project aimed at assisting women and children who face gender-based violence and social crimes.
The prime purpose of the shelter is to house victims for a temporary period, while at the same time providing a variety of services to empower survivors.
Social Worker at the facility, Thulani Mnyandu said, ‘We would really appreciate any donation towards getting this shelter built as soon as possible.’The sooner we can establish it, the quicker we can assist these victims.’
