WITH the annual CANSA Relay For Life (RFL) scheduled for 19-20 September at the ZCBF Community Park in Richards Bay, it’s all systems go for the official launch next Thursday, 7 August.
The organising committee has been hard at work preparing for this important prelude to the big event, where prospective teams will be informed, inspired and challenged to make the RFL a huge emotive and financial success.
The launch, which starts at 5.30pm at the Flamingo Hall at ZCBF, will have the theme ‘Be Bright’, so teams, sponsors and individuals need to don their brightest neon, colourful and reflective clothing both for the launch and the RFL itself.
No invitation is needed: if you want to support CANSA and be part of this amazing international event, simply rock up to ZCBF Park on Thursday and be welcomed into the RFL family.
The Relay For Life philosophy and guidelines as well as the programme for the 2014 event will be explained and any questions will be answered.
The committee is also drawing up a list of cancer survivors for invitation to the RFL and requests survivors or their families to make contact.
