THE tragic death of eight animals early this morning at the Dayspring Farmyard is under investigation.
All evidence points to arson.
The four ponies and four donkeys that perished in the blaze were among a group rescued from Zimbabwe several years ago.
The only upside to the tragedy is that work is in full swing to ready the premises by tomorrow to accommodate the many school and other groups who enjoy outings to the farm.
