Dam worrying water situation

WITH the below average rainfall towards the end of summer, eShowe’s supply dams are at a critically low level.

Although uThungulu District Municipality have not indicated any possibility of possible restrictions, the dam is at level not seen for many years.

Eshlazi and Rutledge Park are both very low and the water will not see out the winter unless good rains fall soon, but that is unlikely as sunny skies are predicted over the coming weeks.

Homeowners are advised to use water sparingly, and in this way stretch the available water for as long as possible.
