Birdsview Academy principal pursues dream of becoming lawyer.

LEARNING in a life long process which Birdsview Academy principal K Marimuthu pursues with extreme passion .

The well-known former John Ross College educator has been teaching for 16 years and added another feather to her cap recently when she graduated with a law degree from the University of Zululand.

After a decade of teaching, she enrolled for part-time studies to follow her dream of becoming a lawyer.

‘I love teaching and learning, so when the opportunity to further my studies presented itself, I pounced on the chance to fulfil my life long dream.

‘Due to financial constraints, I could not follow my dream back then, however, teaching will always remain my passion.

‘As a founding member of Birdsview, it has been an exciting experience to watch this intuition grow and flourish.

‘I am just taking a break now and directing my full attention to the matric class who are hard at work and doing extra tuitions in the afternoons, weekends and during the holidays,’ she said.
