THREE Richards Bay models were injured in a hit-and-run accident at Mzingazi on Sunday evening.
The three beauties were travelling with their driver when another vehicle collided with them on June Road at 11.30pm.
The driver fled the scene, leaving his white Jetta on the side of the road.
The crew was travelling back home after a music video shoot in Empangeni.
Their injured driver, Syanda Khumalo, said the other car swerved from its lane and smashed into them.
‘Everything happened so fast. I think the driver was asleep because he just came straight for us. He got out and ran away, just left his car there.’ said Khumalo.
The women were transported to the Ngwelezane Hospital for treatment.
According to the Richards Bay SAPS spokesperson, Captain Debbie Ferreira, a case of reckless and negligence driving was opened and they are still looking for the owner of the car.
