A 36-year-old Mtubatuba man was stabbed to death at Nkolokotho Reserve last Wednesday around 6:30pm.
Thathezakhe Bongani Thethwayo reportedly fell victim to his brother’s behaviour in an earlier altercation.
Thethwayo’s brother was involved in a quarrel, during which he physically assaulted some men with sticks.
Seeking revenge, the attackers later made their way to the Thethwayo’s home, where they set upon Thathezakhe. He managed to escape and found temporary refuge at a neighbouring homestead, but was tracked down again and stabbed in the chest. Thethwayo died at the scene and was removed by police and transported to the Mtubatuba mortuary.
KwaMsane detectives are investigating a case of murder and no arrests have been made.
