Blue line boost for shoppers

Centre shoppers get police protection

THE SAPS have again opened a satellite office at the Inkwazi Boardwalk shopping centre for the duration of the festive season.

Located at the tourism desk opposite Woolworths, police on duty will assist shoppers in various ways in addition to keeping a close watch on potential crimes committed in the centre.

This includes certifying documents and affidavits.

‘We are out in force this year to ensure visitors and locals are safe,’ said Richards Bay Station Commander, Brig Brenda Mgenge.

‘We will conduct regular operations, including foot patrols, road blocks and stop & searches.’
