THE Oval will roar again this Saturday, 12 December as the Richards Bay Hotrod Club hosts another event.
This one is called ‘The Zululand Championship With a Twist’.
Classes that will run are the Stockrods A and Mixed B, 1660, Pintos, Super Saloons, Hotrods, ¼ Midgets and Ninjas Midgets.
There will be three heats, which will allow space for another ladies’ race.
The ladies’ race was very popular before, and has sparked some interest among the female petrol heads.
For this event, Richards Bay Hotrod Club invites all the drivers’ sponsors to join club members.
VIP seats will be available for them with snacks and refreshments.
Gates open on Saturday at noon and racing starts at 6pm.
Entrance is R60 for adults and R30 for children.
Young adults (12-18years) can get in for R30 from 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
