Zululand reels in top honours
Zululand managed to win the Piet van Rooyen fishing competition on the South Coast.
THE Zululand Shore Angling team took top honours at the Piet van Rooyen competition over the weekend on the South Coast.
Zululand, Mpumalanga and KZN competed under pleasant conditions.
With the fish not frequent on the bite, fisherman had to work extra hard to land something respectable.
The local lads managed to find a few Hammerhead Sharks, Diamond Rays and Bronze Bream which gave them the win in the end.
The final points were as follows: 1 Zululand 171.6 points, 2 Mpumalanga 127.1 and 3 KZN 117.4 points.
