A YOUNG mother accused of killing her two-year-old son appeared before Mtunzini Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
Nompilo Mthembu (18) was arrested on Saturday after she apparently flung the boy against the wall and kicked him when he was on the floor.
He died at the scene.
According to the police, the incident happened when the teen was involved in an argument with other family members.
She will remain in custody until a formal bail hearing.
