Three injured in Mtunzini head-on smash

THREE people have been seriously injured in a head-on crash on the N2 near the infamous Bridge D towards Mtunzini.

Chris Botha, spokesperson for Netcare 911 said paramedics arrived at the scene and found the southbound lane obstructed by the mangled wreckages.

‘After triaging, medics found that three people had sustained serious injuries. They were treated at the scene the patients were transported to various hospitals for the care that they required,’ said Botha in a statement.

The exact cause of the crash is subject to investigation.
