SITTING at the back of a taxi in Empangeni about to depart for Ngwelezane, a man believed to be in his thirties was shot once in the head through the window.
A-Rank behind Power Spar in Maxwell Road was a scene from the ‘Wild West’ this morning when crowds scattered to safety after the gunshot went off.
The unidentified man died on the scene.
Empangeni SAPS confirmed no arrests had been made.
