5 things to do in Zululand in Spring

WATCH: Here is a list of activities you can try during September.

1. Scuba Diving at Sodwana Bay
Sodwana Bay, regarded as one of the most luxurious diving destinations in the world, is a diving, fishing and nature lovers paradise. Although it is only a fraction of the size of the Great Barrier Reef, it is estimated to contain more than two thirds the amount of fish species. Offering incredible diversity in marine life and excellent visibility in the clear blue waters of the North Coast. It is definitely the place to be this spring – for divers and non divers alike.

3. Whale and Bird Watching
Whale season is upon us! If you want to catch a glimpse of these magnificent creatures pay a visit to your nearest beach as they migrate northward from the Antarctic through South African waters. Passing by our sandy shores on their way to the warm tropical waters off southern Madagascar there is a decent chance of seeing them play in the wind. Spring is also the time of pollination and chirping birds in the trees. Grab a hold of your binoculars if you want to admire one of natures most graceful creatures rejoicing at the first signs of summer time.
