Walk for Cansa this weekend

D-day nears for Day Nite walk

THE much anticipated Cancer Day Nite Walk takes place at the ZCBF Community Park this Saturday 29 August – and late registrations are still open.

Entry bands at R50 per walker and Fan Bands for supporters at a donation of R10 can be purchased daily from 8am to 4pm at KBC Health and Safety, situated at 74 Dollar Drive in Richards Bay.

‘In fact, any person, family or group can just pitch up on the day and take part.

‘The programme starts at 11am and entry bands can be purchased at the ZCBF oval track.

‘Even if you can’t spend the entire time there, just pop in and do a lap or two for a good cause or in remembrance of a loved one,’ says committee chairperson Barbara Moscicki.

The day will be filled with fun family activities, with plenty of refreshments on sale.’
